BeOnTop

Why it’s free

No subscription, no trial period, no card. Here is who runs it, and why.

Who makes it

BeOnTop belongs to the aQua for All Foundation — a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Fort Lee, New Jersey (EIN 84-2236945). The Foundation funds clean drinking-water systems for children who live in care, and pays for their upkeep year after year.

BeOnTop was made to bring in donations for clean drinking water for children. We give something useful first — a free, plain-language check of your website — and whoever wishes supports the purpose.

The model, in four lines

  1. The work is free for everyone: the check, the side-by-side comparison with competitors, the AI suggestions, the assistant, the guide. There is no subscription and we never ask for a card.
  2. A donation unlocks nothing: everyone gets the same, with a fair-use limit of 50 AI runs every 30 days that renews by itself. If you like the app, you may donate to our purpose — voluntarily, not as a purchase or a subscription.
  3. Businesses that want to support it make a donation to the Foundation.
  4. Their name appears on the page as a thank-you, and the money follows the same rule as every donation — see below where it goes.

What a sponsor acknowledgement is not

It is not advertising, and we keep it that way on purpose. A sponsor gets its name, its logo, a link and a plain, neutral description of what it does — for example “Greek olive oil, herbs and Mediterranean products”.

There are no offers, prices, discounts, superlatives or calls to buy. We promise no number of views, and the amount does not depend on traffic. That way the payment stays a donation to the Foundation — not the sale of advertising space.

What a sponsor gets

You can see the placements exactly as they appear on the demonstration page (in Greek).

Where the money goes

BeOnTop’s running costs are small — mainly the AI. When donations come in through BeOnTop, that small cost is paid from them and everything else goes to the water systems; when they don’t, the Foundation’s president covers it personally.

Today children in three SOS Children’s Villages programmes in Greece drink water from systems the Foundation funded. The next village in line is Plagiari, outside Thessaloniki, which today buys bottled water every week.

The figures from the Foundation’s returns to the IRS, and who runs it, are on the page Who runs BeOnTop, and where the money goes.

And if I give nothing?

Then you have exactly what donors have: the check, the comparison with competitors, the AI suggestions, the assistant and the guide — free, for good, with no card. The fair-use limit on the AI is the same for everyone. That is the point: the work stays free for everyone.
