BeOnTop (the "Service") is provided by aQua for All Foundation ("we," "us," "the Foundation"), a U.S. nonprofit corporation recognized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (EIN 84-2236945). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
BeOnTop is a free website-analysis tool. It checks a website against a set of search-engine-optimization ("SEO") criteria, measures page-load speed using Google's PageSpeed Insights, lets you compare websites side by side, and can generate suggested text (titles, descriptions, article ideas) using artificial intelligence. If you connect a WordPress site, BeOnTop can also write AI-generated image descriptions directly into that site's media library on your behalf.
The Service is provided free of charge and is supported by donations and sponsors. We do not guarantee that using the Service will improve your website's search ranking, traffic, or any business outcome. Scores, speed measurements, and AI-generated suggestions are informational only and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.
Any AI-generated text, image description, or suggestion is produced automatically and is not reviewed by a human before it is shown to you or — where you have connected a third-party account such as WordPress — before it is written to that account. You are solely responsible for reviewing any AI-generated content before it is published or relied upon, for its accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with applicable law and third-party rights (including copyright and advertising regulations). We disclaim liability for AI-generated content that is inaccurate, offensive, or otherwise unsuitable.
If you choose to connect a WordPress (or other) account, you grant BeOnTop limited permission to read and write specific data (such as image descriptions), using credentials you control and can revoke at any time from that third-party service. You remain responsible for the security and content of your own website. We are not responsible for damage, data loss, or downtime affecting a connected third-party website, including damage caused by page-builder or plugin behavior outside our control.
You may only add or compare websites for legitimate SEO analysis. You represent that you have the right to have any website you designate as "yours" analyzed and modified via the Service, and that your use of the Service to analyze any other website (for example, a competitor's) complies with that website's own terms and applicable law.
You agree not to: attempt to access another user's data or account; circumvent usage limits; upload, request, or publish unlawful, infringing, or harmful content through the Service; or interfere with the Service's normal operation. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Donations made through or in connection with the Service go to aQua for All Foundation and support the Foundation's charitable mission, including operating this Service. A sponsor placement is an acknowledgement of support and does not constitute the Foundation's endorsement of any sponsor's products or services, nor a sponsor's endorsement of the Foundation.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE FOUNDATION AND ITS STAFF, VOLUNTEERS, AND CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50).
