Effective date: August 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how aQua for All Foundation ("we," "us"), a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 84-2236945), collects, uses, and protects information when you use BeOnTop (the "Service").
| Category | What, and why |
|---|---|
| Account | Your name or business name and email address (or, for our own staff, a name and PIN), used to sign you in and manage your account. |
| Website data | The website addresses you add, and the page content, headings, images, and metadata we fetch from them, in order to produce your SEO and speed check. |
| WordPress connection (optional) | If you connect a WordPress site, your WordPress username and an "Application Password" you generate for us — used only to read your media library and write AI-generated image descriptions on your behalf. Stored on our servers, never shown again after entry, and revocable anytime from your own WordPress dashboard. |
| Usage data | Which features you use and your AI-suggestion usage count, to enforce free-tier limits and to operate and improve the Service. |
| Sponsor interaction data | Anonymous view/click counts on sponsor banners, not tied to your identity. |
We use this information to run the checks you request; generate AI suggestions (see Section 4 on third parties); enforce free-tier limits; communicate with you about your account; and maintain and improve the Service.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your website content or WordPress credentials for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.
We rely on the following providers to operate BeOnTop. Each receives only the data needed for its function:
Please also review these providers' own privacy practices for how they handle data on our behalf.
We retain your account and website data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you wish to reactivate it. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (Section 8).
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing — this applies in particular to residents of the European Union / European Economic Area under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). To exercise any of these rights, contact us (Section 8); we will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including storing WordPress credentials on our servers rather than in your browser. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
